Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. Her previous roles included a presidential candidate and an anchor on TV at MSNBC. She's also a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and co-host of The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. Enjeti and Ball declared that they would not be on the show in May 2021. They wanted to create their own project, which they named Breaking Points. Ball hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared as a guest on networks like CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball is adamant about her interest in politics and her experience as a new mother in the 2008 primaries. She also followed the US presidential election from Jordan as she was working in Jordan. She witnessed the impact it had on people in her country and was inspired to appreciate the international influence of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district in the 2010 election. She lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. From June 2012 until July 2015, she hosted The Cycle, an MSNBC program The Cycle. She founded the People's House Project in May 2017 to promote Democratic causes.
