Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC was born on March 4 1954. O'Hara has won numerous prizes, including the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award) and two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada. In 2020, she was presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara made her name as an actor when she joined in 1974 of The Second City, an improvisational comedy troupe based in Toronto. Dan Aykroyd and John Candy were also part of her main ensemble in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara as well as Candy started work in Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara won a Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for her outstanding writing for a Variety Series. O'Hara, Steve Carell and Dwayne Colbert were included on the Second City artistic board in 2022.
